International Women's Day, celebrated on March 8th, is a time to honor women's progress and advocate for real change towards gender equality. This day, rooted in a 1908 demonstration where 15,000 women in New York City stood united for equal rights, better pay, shorter hours, and voting rights, has grown into a worldwide moment.
